The short version

What is collected

When you sign in, Google Firebase Authentication receives your email address (and, if you use Google sign-in, your Google account name). This identifies your account.

When you save a plan, the planner stores the plan itself: the answers and figures you entered, such as ages, account balances, income, spending and property details, plus the plan's name and the time it was saved.

The planner never asks for Social Security numbers, account numbers, or bank or brokerage logins. Please do not type them into any field.

Where it is stored and who can see it

Saved plans are kept in Google Cloud Firestore (a Google Firebase service) in the United States. Access rules only let a signed-in, invited person read and change the plans in their own account.

The site owner, Rajul Amin, administers the Firebase project. That technical access means the owner could view stored data; the owner will not look at your plans unless you ask for help with them. Google operates the servers under its own terms and privacy policy.

Plans are not shared with anyone else, and are not used for marketing.
